AMSTERDAM STREET PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP

Arjen Zwart (1957)  photographing since the mid 80's  and has been teaching street photography workshops in Istanbul and Amsterdam  since 2008 .

Bouwe Brouwer (1977 )Studied fine arts and was trained as an illustrator; photographing since 2013.
Bouwe is  member of International photography collective UP

Our workshops are aimed at improving your street photography. Through practical tips, you will gain a better understanding of what it takes to create opportunities and make the most of a situation. We will explore some photographic 'hotspots' in Amsterdam and learn how to take good photos that will set your work apart from the 'regular' street photography we see so much of.

A Review / in-depth critique of your work will take place with a personal Zoom consult arranged at a mutually convenient time.

This workshop is open to people who are comfortable with their camera and have a good understanding of basic exposure settings. Perhaps you are new to the street photography genre or are an experienced photographer who wants to refine and improve his / her technique.
Before the workshop we will discuss all practical issues with the participants. Our workshops are strictly limited to 10 participants. Price: 120 €
Place of start is near the Central Station : Cafe Karpershoek Martelaarsgracht 2.

REQUIREMENTS:
A rangefinder camera or SLR (film or digital) . It’s required to have a wide-angle lens (full frame
a 28 or 35mm range/ APS frame a lens with a range between 17-21 mm) .
